Introduction: Our next performers are one of the competition teams
from Dancing Inxs. They received 1st Place and National
Champion in the Jazz Category (9-11) at the Contest of
Champions Nationals 2008. They also won the Spirit of Disney
Award 2008 in Orlando, Florida. Please welcome the Dancing
INXS Pearls, with Mini Latinas!

Introduction: Heather has been practicing the art of Bellydance for
almost a year. She studies at the YMCA in Homestead with dance
instructor and performer, Sultana. Her dedication and love for the
art has made her feel with more enthusiasm and energy.
Bellydance has inspired the woman inside.


Shayna & The Snake Charmers
Cyndi, Elsie, Karla, Keyona, Melanie, Nicole, Shayna, Sonia
"Unknown"

Introduction: Shayna and The Snake Charmers are performing an
original choreography by Shayna. The dance is a fusion of
bellydance, tribal and some hip hop. The song they are performing
to is also a fusion mix.

Introduction: Shayna is not only a wonderful dancer and performer,
but she is also a 3rd degree black belt. Shayna has been dancing
since she could walk. She has studied ballet, lyrical, tap, modern
dance, jazz, hip hop and for the last 5 years bellydance. She
teaches karate and bellydance classes at her studio in the Cutler
Bay area. She wants to dedicate this performance to "Ansuya" who
choreographed this dance.

Introduction: Nilly is a full-time nerd and a part-time bellydance
instructor. Her student troupe, Nashwa Dancers consists of
beginner and intermediate students from Artserve class in East
Sunrise. Today they will be performing "Sunset Drum". Please

Introduction: Stacy has been performing tribal fusion bellydance in
the Miami area for over five years. This dance combines her recent
love of indian music and her childhood love of marching bands.
Although many versions of this popular indian song have been
recorded, this is probably one of the most unique.

Introduction: Luisa is known for her beautiful, soft yet charismatic
style. As a member of the Belly Motions family, her warm-hearted
enthusiasm carries through her performances and teaching
styles. In addition to working as a full time Architect, Luisa is a
member of the DIVA foundation; she proudly donates her time and
talents working with various charitable organizations, including the
Beautiful Shimmies project. Luisa would like to dedicate this
performance to her Grandmother, Maria Luisa, whom she was not
able to meet due to her battle with Breast Cancer.

"Paradise El Hawa Mix"

Introduction: Bellypassion is a dance company directed by
Xiomara, a professional bellydance instructor, performer and
choreographer. This is a group of dedicated and trained dancers
that decided to share their passion for this dance with the world
and gave themselves to this art form as a way of self-expresion
and femenity! Bellypassion's diverse and modern choreographies
are based on the traditional Oriental "Raks Sharki" fusioned with
other dance forms. Bellypassion ... bellydancig with a passion!

Introduction: Andrus is belly dance artist who has performed with
Tamalyn Dallal, Dreams Bellydance, and affiliated with Belly
Motions. He dedicates this number to Kamileh for putting together
this event for a good cause.

Introduction: Daniska Yamilet Lam, from Puerto Rico, 3rd Runner
Up Junior Solo 2008 Category winner at the Bellydance Of The
Universe Competition - held in Long Beach, California.


Zaina Hart

Introduction: Multi Award Winning Zaina Hart is a master instructor
and performer of Oriental Dance, hailing from the Emerald State -
Washington. She is the owner of iShimmy.com, The Belly Dancer
Magazine and producer of multiple events throughout the year. She
is as well a personal coach to dancers internationally and pageant
contestants. Zaina is a very big fan of the Miami, South Florida
Dance Community and personally thanks this wonderful
community for stepping up to support this very important cause.
