| Guest Performer This Year ~ ARISH LAM! Arish Lam is an internationally renowned instructor recognized for his amazing ability to fuse Latin rhythms with Belly Dance. He started his career as a Belly Dancer in Puerto Rico under the training of Leyla Zahar in 1999; Since then, he has traveled to Egypt to further his training with numerous master teachers. It is his unique and dramatic style that sets him aside from the mainstream, with his mix of musical rhythms, fusion of dance styles, spectacular costuming and drama to create a special type of dance experience. Even though he travels all over the United States teaching and performing, however, until now he has only been featured in South Florida at the Spirit of the Tribes. We are lucky enough to be able to share this experience now and offer his talent to you for the first time in our area. |
| Guest Instructor ~ ZIZI ZABANEH! The guest instructor for our Sunday Zambra workshop is Zizi Zabaneh. A dance performer, instructor, choreographer and dance photographer, Zizi has been dancing since her early teens. Trained in Flamenco, Latin and Middle Eastern dance, she has studied with some of the most outstanding professionals in the field of dance. ZiZi has taught and performed internationally. Precision, strength and stamina characterize her dance style and makes her a favorite amongst audiences of all ages. Zizi has performed in dance productions all over South Florida and and this is her second year supporting Kamileh's Breast Cancer Benefit. |
